It’s been a real delight welcoming back both students and staff this week to the Learning Centre and it’s been a really positive start back.
On Tuesday students, parents, carers, staff and governors attended our Year 14 Record of Achievement, where our Year 14 students certainly did themselves proud! I still feel a sense of awe
This week there has been a huge mixture of emotions as students prepare to move on from the Learning Centre with feelings of excitement, fear and sadness.

This week I’ve been in a reflective mood. As we help our students prepare for their next steps, we’ve been remembering just how far they’ve come.
On Wednesday evening, the Learning Centre welcomed Year 11 students, parents and carers to our transition evening.
This week I joined the leadership teams from New Bridge School and Medtia, our governors and the executive team for our termly full governing body meeting.
It’s hard to believe that we have just returned for our last half term of this academic year, time has definitely flown by.
I read Graham’s blog with much interest this week as he focused on Wednesday evening’s Panorama programme.
