I’d like to start by saying a very warm welcome to all our students who either came back to the Learning Centre this week or who have joined us for the very first time.
I have to admit this was not how I imagined finishing off this academic year. This week we would have been saying farewell to our Year 14 students who are moving on.

On Thursday we said goodbye to a much-loved friend and colleague Kim Ratcliffe.
I need to start by saying another huge thank you to all the families who have so far completed the individual risk assessments as part of our ‘New Schooling’ risk assessment process.
As you may be aware, this week has been Mental Health Awareness week and if we had been in college we would have all been involved in another ‘Learning Centre Wellbeing afternoon’ based
Understandably there have been lots of questions from parents and carers this week following recent government guidance and I’d like to thank families for their patience and understanding.
