I hope you are all well and staying safe. This would have been our last week in school before breaking up for our summer holidays. It would have been a week where we said our goodbyes to Haidar, Zara and Anisa, wishing them all good luck on their next journey at the Learning Centre.
It would have been a week when we welcomed new students into our class and showed them what we do, to help them get ready for their return in September.
It would have been a week of celebrating all the fantastic work we have achieved this year and start to plan what we will be learning in September.
It would have been a week of having lots of fun filled activities ending in our last day of academic year class party and celebrating with all our friends with the unforgettable “New Bridge has got talent showdown.”
Unfortunately we will not be able to do any of the above but we will be able to come together in September and hopefully carry on where we left off. Some things may be different on our return to school but please do not worry, we will all work together as a team and support one another.
This week for those students who are not leaving, it would be great if you could perhaps draw a little picture, write down a few words or even record a little message for our leavers. If you could email me your work I will then forward it onto Haidar, Zara and Anisa. I am sure they would love to hear from you.
If you could please finish off your work booklets ( sent in the post) and complete any outstanding work on Seesaw that would be great.
I am so proud of all the work you have been doing at home, you have been a credit to the school and should be proud of yourselves.
I hope you all have a fantastic summer holiday and I can’t wait to see you all in September.
Take care and have fun.
