Extended Schools

(Holiday Club &
After School Club)

New Bridge School

After School Club

Our After School Club runs from Monday to Thursday from 3.10pm until 4.45pm prompt, and there is a minimal charge of £5.00 per day.

Students within the IB and AB classes will stay in their class base and be able to choose the activities they prefer.

Although we endeavour to accommodate all family requests, this is dependent upon staff requesting to work.

We match staff to students to ensure students needs are met by staff they are familiar with, therefore if those staff do not request to work, we may not be able to offer your child a place.

Holiday Club

Our Holiday Clubs run every half term holiday, at Easter and for the first four weeks of the Summer holidays. All our students have equal opportunity to access the holiday schemes which are operated by highly experienced staff to ensure the welfare and safety of all the young people taking part.

Families can request as many or as few days as they wish, and the cost is currently £15.00 per day.

We endeavour to ensure every child receives every day requested, however this is dependent upon a number of factors and may not always be guaranteed.

There is a wide range of activities on offer that are tailored to the needs of the young people. These fall within two categories for the main body students: Art and craft and sport.

The Autism Base, Interactive Bases and Communication classes have tailor made timetables to suit the needs of those individuals.

We also have the opportunity to have trips out to local parks and attractions and bring in outside agencies, for example: Little Barn Farm and Ranger Rob’s animal experience to offer your child a varied and exciting experience.

Letters are sent home approximately 6 weeks before a holiday period which is usually the week we return from a holiday. Information is sent via your Arbor account or paper copy asking families to inform us of any days they wish their child to attend in the next Holiday Club.

The deadline for returns is very tight due to the amount of planning involved in each club. We match staff to student needs and are dependent upon staff requesting to work.

In order to maintain continuity of care and enable your child to have the most enjoyable time this may mean that you will not receive every day you request if the staffing is not available.

Your child’s timetable will be sent home as confirmation of their place approximately one to two weeks prior to the club.
